The Harris Partnership has won five property award nominations this year.
Congratulations to our Reading office and Iain Church for earning a short list for Best Education Building in the (south east) Regional Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards 2015 for their design on the cloisters at TASIS, The American School in England in Thorpe, Surrey. THP has been working with TASIS for a number of years on a major re-development of the academic estate including new science block, dormitory and administration buildings.
We have also just learned that the practice has been short listed for Best Architect of the Year in the Insider-Variety Yorkshire Property Awards. That followed hot on the heels of multiple nominations for The Blackburn Wing, our airfoil inspired treehouse design for the Bowcliffe Hall estate near Leeds which has been short listed for the RIBA Regional Building of the Year award for Yorkshire as well as garnering nominations in the Tourism and Design and Innovation categories of the RICS 2015 awards.
Outright winners for all these award schemes are due to be announced in April and May.
