THP are delighted to announce the completion of our first multi-level industrial scheme – Southwark Urban Logistics.
The scheme reimagines logistics in London, delivering over 167,000 sqft of flexible B2/B8 space across four floors. It has achieved a WiredScore Platinum rating, BREEAM Outstanding, and EPC A+, setting a new benchmark for sustainable industrial design. Delivered for British Land with McLaren Construction, the scheme is already turning heads and has been nominated for the Mayor’s NLA Awards this November.
Ian Perrell, Group Director, said:
“Three years ago, we sketched the idea of stacking logistics on this disused site for British Land. To see it now realised is phenomenal. We’re deeply committed to making our capital a more sustainable city, and optimising brownfield sites through industrial intensification is a vital part of that vision. This project stands as a testament to the ambition of our client, the support of Southwark Council and the GLA, the expertise of the contractor, and the dedication of the wider design team—together delivering an innovative product now coming to market.”
The Harris Group provided Architecture, Interior Design, Visualisations and Animations, and acted as CDM Principal Designer and BR Principal Designer throughout the process.
