We are delighted to share that a resolution to approve at Planning Committee has been reached for the redevelopment of the former Co-op site in Wickford!
On behalf of Heriot UK, this transformative scheme will revitalise a key town centre location, delivering a vibrant new mixed-use development that enhances the local streetscape and supports Wickford’s ongoing regeneration.
The approved plans include modern retail and commercial space alongside high-quality residential accommodation, designed with sustainability, accessibility, and community integration at the forefront. The scheme looks to deliver 72 new apartments, with a shared residents’ garden sat above approximately 35,000ft2 of foodstore floor space.
