We are delighted to report a detailed planning application has been submitted on behalf of our client The Crown Estate for the redevelopment of the former Travelodge site at The Silverlink, North Tyneside. The proposals include a new build shopping terrace of over 100,000 sq.ft retail space with Next at Home the key anchor for the site.
When complete the development will significantly enhance a currently underused site and strengthen connectivity to the neighboring areas. The site sits directly opposite the existing Silverlink Shopping Park also within the Crown Estates property portfolio and represents the first phase of significant redevelopment of the combined sites.
