The residential and ecclesiastical extension of Tilehurst St George’s Church on St George’s Road, Reading has reached completion almost 17 years after the project was first proposed. Designed by our Reading office for social housing provider Stonewater and St George’s Church, the development has delivered 88sqm of new build Church extension alongside 12 affordable housing units with dedicated parking and amenity space.
The new extension was handed over to the Church on Sunday 9th June at a dedication ceremony attended by local dignitaries and community representatives including the Archdeacon of Berkshire and the High Sherriff. The residential opening ceremony will be held in October 2019 following final fit-out.
