Work started in March on St Hilary Retail Park Basildon to create store units and neighbouring industrial unit.
The retail development will feature 5 units at circa 105,000 sqft, which will house stores including Lidl, Lok N store, Greggs, a coffee house and a tile retailer. There will also be an additional 13,000sqft unit and all include servicing to the rear with ample parking to the front including disabled parking and a number of charging bays.
The 55,000sqft industrial unit next door will include 5,000sqft offices on the first floor with a service area to the rear with 2 level access doors and 3 dock levellers. There will be staff parking at the front of the scheme featuring accessible parking and charging bays. Work is expected to be complete in March 2023.
