The Harris Partnership has been working with Equitable Life Assurance Society for the last six months in developing a planning application for the conversion of two existing retail units at The Coliseum, Cheshire Oaks into a new Debenhams Store.
The detailed application will provide over 60,000sqft of gross floor space over two levels as a corner anchor unit upon approach into the park and will include out of town fashion trading over two levels as well as a new restaurant within the proposed 20,000sqft rear extension.
Lee Brewer, Associate Director comments: ‘With Debenhams involved in the overall design process from the outset, we have had the opportunity to develop a proposal that meets the tenant’s exacting demands as well as the client’s budget aspirations, whilst also integrating into the overall design palette of the park’.
Planning was granted in October with works to start early in the New Year.
