The Harris Group takes the threat posed by the Covid-19 pandemic seriously and our approach to this situation is based on current guidance from the World Health Organisation, UK Government and Construction Leadership Council.
Covid-19 Office Risk Assessments for each of our offices have been carried out and shared with all employees so that they comply with the specific preventive measures and precautions as detailed. These are reviewed and updated on a regular basis to suit ongoing changes and improvements. Project meetings are still being held remotely where possible but if any visitors must attend our offices they should request a copy of the Covid-19 Risk Assessment for the relevant office from firstname.lastname@example.org before the visit and comply with precautionary procedures during the visit.
A Covid-19 Site Visit Risk Assessment has been carried out and shared with all employees who need to attend construction sites. If visits to third party locations are required, all of our staff have read and understood The Harris Group’s Covid-19 Site Visit Risk Assessment and will request the risk assessment and method statement for the site beforehand. Where it is not possible for an employee to safely attend site for personal reasons, a full handover of the project information will be given to another suitable member of the team who will attend to carry out our contracted services. When on site at a third party location, if our employee has any reservations that the visit cannot be carried out safely they are advised to report this to the site manager and then leave site.
The Harris Group remains committed to maintain a quality services for all of our clients. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure we continue to meet our client obligations and operate our core activities as close to normally as possible while ensuring the safety of our employees, carefully monitoring the situation and government guidance.
Any further changes to any of these measures will be informed by advice from the above-mentioned sources and communicated both to staff and clients accordingly and as appropriate.
