Works have reached practical completion at the new £8m Scott Works Retail Park in Bradford.
Designed by The Harris Partnership for Quora Limited, the shopping park, which received unanimous approval by Bradford Council’s Regulatory and Appeals Committee in August 2017, will feature an Aldi supermarket, Home Bargains, Heron Foods, Greggs, a drive-through Starbucks café, a Marstons family pub and Sue Ryder unit with shared 170 space car park.
The six acre site was formerly occupied by MPS (Field Packaging) until 2016 and prior to that the Scotts Motorcycle company, which built the site at the start of the 20th century. The scheme will resurrect a barren brownfield site and represents a multi-million pound retail and leisure investment in the area. The site is due to be handed over to end-user fit out teams and is expected to create 185 local jobs when open and trading in February next year.
