Harris Partnership promotes new group director in Reading office / January, 2012

Reading-based architect practice the Harris Partnership has announced that David McKnight has been promoted to Group Director.

McKnight, who has been a Director heading up the Reading office of the award-winning firm since 2005, has been invited to join the Harris Group Board following 22 years with the practice.

Paul Mitchell, managing director of the national architects practice comments: “David has been a key driving force in the success of the Reading office and has grown to play an integral role in the development of the company nationally over the past 22 years.  I would like to extend my congratulations to him on behalf of the team.”

During his role as Director, David lead the Reading team, significantly expanding the portfolio, with direct responsibility for key clients including Aldi Food Stores, London United, T.A.S.I.S and T A Fisher & Sons Ltd.

Having worked as Project Leader and Designer on retail, commercial and conservation projects, David also works in the areas of high end bespoke residential, working with private clients for houses up to the value of £25 million, and the education sector, including The American School in England.
