The Wakefield office has recently completed a new development at Smithy Wood Business Park comprising of 36,500 sqft internal area including a fully fitted two storey office element with toilets, welfare and ancillary space.
External space includes parking for both staff and customers, plus onsite parking for 7 HGV and 52 Vans with both fuelling and on site washing facilities. To access the development a new 300m road has been constructed.
The building has been designed to achieve a very good BREEAM rating, with 10% of the buildings overall energy consumption provided by renewable sources. Both DV’s and a Thermodynamic panel combine the benefits of a solar collector with Thermodynamic properties of a refrigerant gas pump, have been incorporated on the roof.
