Going with the flow for Jiskoot / June, 2012

An American Plc company specialising in flow equipment technology is the latest to occupy a building designed by the practice.

On the instructions of client, Tarncourt Developments, The Harris Partnership designed and facilitated the planning for a 12,000 sq. ft warehouse and 8,0000 sq. ft three storey office block in Royal Tunbridge Wells for Cameron, which manufactures the Jiskoot range of products, used across the globe.

James Richmond, Director, who headed up the project for The Harris Partnership comments: “As with all design and build projects, our role here was to interpret the occupier’s needs effectively and design premises that would accommodate their operating equipment and other practical considerations. This job entailed safely housing two 35 metre long cranes, within the warehouse unit – a challenge, but I’m pleased to say, we rose to it.”
