2012 has seen the practice involved in a wealth of Aldi schemes across Yorkshire and the North West of the UK. Stores for which we have secured planning permission include those at Chesterfield, Guiseley, Lincoln, Beverley and three in Leeds. Meanwhile, construction is underway on those located in Dronfield, Sheffield (two stores) Middleton, Oldham and Lytham St Annes. We have also marked completions at Dinnington, Barnsley, Sheffield, Barrow, Urmston and Fallowfield Triangle.
Group Director, Nick Charlesworth comments: “Aldi are continuing their expansion speedily, and we are very pleased to be playing a key role in their plans. The brand is stronger than ever in the current climate and our design treatment aims to convey Aldi’s strong identity while complementing each individual store’s surroundings, be these listed buildings, a contemporary shopping centre or a waterfront environment.”
